Initially “ENCAJE” was a solo conceived by (CU-DE) Choreographer Judith Sánchez Ruíz, performed in various scenarios of Europe, China, and the US.
“ENCAJE for Ten” is to dance with our closest monster and say hello without shame. It is a dance with our many three or four selves, the many me/you changing constantly, the piece is an abstract experience of our 24 hours in our daily life in 30 minutes of layering, transforming, subjects, moods, images, physicality, and emotions like a radio.
When greed and indifference is that status quo, it’s time for conversation.
This will be a new version of 50 minutes, only for women.
